The WebDAV Interoperability event was a lot of fun. I am happy that I was able to go to Santa Cruz, and also to participate in the meetings and take away useful notes on proceeding with the property registration project. 1. PROJECT STATUS I have been organizing materials so that outsiders (e.g., AIIM folk) can see what this is and get up to speed. It isn't all linked up. It will be soon. One thing I did was create a revised project plan that recognized where we are on the calendar. I started that and then forgot to look at it for the milestones I set for myself! I have corrected that. I will provide weekly status to you both just so you know I am fulfilling on the project. The updated project sketch is at http://nfocentrale.net/dmware/projects/P010100.htm and I will provide an update the same time as all of the milestones set for next Monday, October 7. I intend to make monday reports from now on. 2. IETF-55 IN ATLANTA Unless there is a good reason for it, I don't propose to go to the Atlanta meeting on November 17-21. The fee is $450 and the hotel costs are high, not counting air travel. So I figure it is better to have a complete set of material done on the deadline for the meeting (October 18) but not go. If either of you think it is important to do otherwise, let me know. At the moment, I am expecting to attend OOPSLA 2002 (here in Seattle, November 4-8) and a two-day eLibrary workshop (Vancouver, BC, November 14-15). There's lots to keep me gainfully occupied between now and those events and the October 18 deadline also. -- Dennis Dennis E.
